The terms & conditions set out below apply to the supply of goods or services from Loft Ladders Direct to you the customer, and by ordering, you agree to be bound by them.
Loft Ladders Direct offer two services, “Supply only” where you can order your loft ladder on-line and it will be delivered to you by Courier Service (Usually within 72hrs of receipt of cleared funds). Alternatively you could take advantage of our Loft Ladder installation service.
Loft Ladder Installations
All prices are set from the price guide; your guarantee is that there will be no payment from you until you are satisfied with the work carried out. Any extra work needed will be charged and added to the original quote as per the price guide.
Payment can be made in full by card, bank transfer, cash or cheque to our fitter once the agreed work has been completed.
While Loft Ladders Direct will take every care of your property, Loft Ladders Direct will not be responsible for any damages to hidden pipework or electrical cables within enclosed and sealed loft spaces.
We cannot warrant that use of the site will not be interrupted or unavailable due to any factors outside our control.
“Supply Only” Loft Ladders
We are continually seeking to update and improve the site. Therefore, we may make changes to any part of the site and these conditions and you will be bound by changes to these conditions from the time you next access the site.
When your goods arrive it is important that you check that the items are in good condition and the quantity of items received corresponds to the quantity you are signing for.
In the unlikely event that your goods have been damaged in transit, you must refuse the delivery and contact our sales team immediately in order that we may dispatch a replacement quickly and minimise your inconvenience.
Please inform us promptly of any shortages so that we may take the matter up with our couriers and trace the missing items.
We must emphasise the importance of checking your goods thoroughly at the time of delivery as you are signing for them in good condition…. signing as unexamined or unchecked is not acceptable and Loft Ladders Direct will not accept responsibility for damages.
Title and risk in the goods shall pass to you the purchaser upon delivery and receipt by our courier of a signed delivery note.
“Spare Parts & Accessories”
All spare parts should be selected and fitted by a qualified and competent person and that Loft Ladders Direct do not accept any liability for the incorrect selection or fitting of spare parts purchased via this website. These spares are intended as a direct replacement to either a broken or missing part, so in this case some fixings would not be present with the order.
When you place an order, it will be treated as an offer by you to purchase.
Loft Ladders Direct reserve the right to accept or not accept any order at our discretion. Dispatch of your goods will signify our acceptance of your order and will constitute a legally binding contract between us the seller and you the purchaser under these terms & conditions.
All Prices shown on this website include V.A.T. and delivery for the U.K mainland. Only England & Wales & some of Scotland. Excludes Northern Ireland, Highlands & Islands. Please call for advise if from these areas.
Please note all payments can be processed through Paypal and Bank transfer.
A full vat invoice will be E-mailed to you at the time of dispatch and will arrive separately from your goods. You may pay for your order by cheque, however we cannot dispatch any goods until cleared funds arrive in our bank account, therefore an extended delivery time must be anticipated.
Loft Ladders Direct understands that a quick efficient delivery is expected by all of our customers and most goods are dispatched on a 5-7 working day standard Royal Mail parcel service.
Loft Ladders Direct will not be held liable for any consequential losses; damages or expenses incurred by you the purchaser or any third party arising directly or indirectly out of late or non-delivery of your order or part thereof.
If for whatever reason you wish to return an item, (excluding spares & accessories) you may do this at any time up to 7 days after receiving the goods for a refund. You must inform us in writing or by email of your intention to return the goods within this 7-day period and return the goods undamaged, in their original packaging and in a saleable condition together with the sales receipt, ensuring that the goods are adequately insured during their return journey.
The purchaser will be responsible for return carriage costs, unless the returned goods prove defective or faulty through no fault of your own, in which case we will refund the return transport costs in full.
Only after we receive the returned goods in a saleable condition can we refund the value of the goods less 25% re-stocking charge.
You may cancel your order at any time prior to dispatch by phone or email quoting your order number. If the goods have been dispatched then the customer is responsible for the cost of the return of the goods, unless otherwise agreed.
Loft Ladders Direct reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to revise these Terms at any time and correct any errors or omissions in any portion of the Site and Materials. Materials may also be changed, modified, added, or removed and updated without notice at any time; however, Loft Ladders Direct is under no obligation to update Materials. Loft Ladders Direct may also make changes in the products, services, programs, or prices (if any) described in the Site at any time without notice. Your continued use of the Site after any change Loft Ladders Direct makes to the Site will be considered acceptance of those changes. You should revisit these Terms from time to time to review the then-current Terms because they are binding on you.
No part of these terms & conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
